Melaleuca China Headquarters Project Held Ground-Breaking Ceremony

The Ground Breaking Ceremony of Melaleuca China Headquarters Project was held on 16th December, 2019 in Shanghai Fengpu Industrial Park. Vice President of Melaleuca’s International Department Mr. Jerry Felton, CEO of Century 3 Mr. Rong He, along with other senior management from both companies attended the ceremony. Century 3 was selected as the design and construction service provider for this project. Century 3’s employee was awarded the Best Design honor by Mr. Jerry Felton for the excellent performance in design phase.
As the largest manufacturing facility built overseas by Melaleuca, the China Headquarters Project, located in Shanghai Fengpu Industrial Park, covers an area of approximately 80 mu, total construction area 63,798 sqm, with a total investment of RMB700 million. The facility includes R&D center, joint factories, integrated production plants, cosmetics workshops, washing supplies workshops, and high-end logistics centers, etc. The project fully adopts advanced 3D or the BIM technology for its process production design, including raw material preparation to high-speed automatic filling and packaging linkage lines. It is also equipped with a fully automatic three-dimensional warehouse, an efficient picking line, and a highly efficient logistics center with VGA.
With the strong support of Fengxian Government, Melaleuca project team and Century 3 team successfully received five licenses altogether within 24 hours and obtained construction license within 5 working days, which will reduce the construction period by at least 6 months and set the fastest record of obtaining construction license since China International Import Expo.
